Estate expansion
Your floating island expands as your lifetime mastery rises. Growth is earned and fair — every island starts the same size with the same farmland, so expansion reflects dedication, not luck. A bigger island gives more space, but score still comes only from hand-harvesting.
Your island isn’t fixed forever. As you put in lifetime hours, your estate grows.
Earned, fair growth
Every island starts identical — same farmland tiles, same water layout, same height, same usable space. From there, estate expansion unlocks more room as your lifetime mastery rises. Because expansion is tied to mastery milestones that everyone climbs on the same schedule, it rewards dedication without creating an unfair head start.
The underlying fairness is structural: farmland, water, and ground height are kept identical across all islands regardless of expansion tier. A fairness check enforces this at the template level — you can’t buy or unlock more productive farmland, only more space.
Why it’s fair
Score still comes only from hand-harvesting. A larger island gives you more space to plant and harvest, but it doesn’t hand you points. You still have to harvest every crop yourself with your Harvester Tool; automation never scores. Newer players compete on the same per-crop terms: the score from one harvest on a Tier 3 crop is identical whether the harvester has a tiny starter island or a large expanded estate.
Expansion is a long-term goal and a visible signal of commitment — not a pay-wall or a competitive shortcut.
How expansion works in practice
Your expansion tier is determined by your mastery level. As mastery crosses milestones (accumulated over your whole server history), new expansion tiers unlock. The plot physically grows — more land to farm, more surface to decorate, more room to express your style.
You don’t actively trigger expansion: when you cross the mastery milestone, the server applies the new tier to your plot. Check your mastery progress with your current stats to understand how close you are to the next tier.
Expansion and season resets
When a season ends, islands are reset and unassigned. Your mastery, however, persists — so when the new season begins and you’re assigned a fresh plot, it reflects your current mastery tier. A player who has been on the server for several seasons will have a larger starting footprint than a brand-new player, as a reflection of their history — not an in-season advantage.
Making it yours
As your estate grows, dress it up with island customization — themes and décor that personalise your plot without affecting fairness. A named, themed, fully expanded island is a visible mark of a long-time player.
Strategy & use-cases
Play consistently across seasons, not just one big push. Mastery accumulates from lifetime harvesting. A moderate season played eight times contributes more mastery than one massive season. Regular play, even in quiet seasons, keeps the mastery clock running.
Use expansion as motivation between seasons. Check how close you are to the next expansion milestone after a season ends. If you’re just a few mastery points away, the opening harvest session of the new season could push you over and grow the island before the week is out.
Pair expansion with decoration. A larger island unlocks more surface to work with in island customization. Expanding and then redecorating is one of the most rewarding long-term milestones on the server.
Common mistakes
- Expecting expansion to arrive mid-season based on seasonal score. Expansion is mastery-gated, and mastery is lifetime. Seasonal score drives the leaderboard, not expansion.
- Thinking expansion happens automatically without playing. Mastery accumulates from harvesting. You have to keep playing seasons to push mastery milestones forward.

FAQ
How do I make my island bigger?
Raise your lifetime mastery. Estate expansion is tied to mastery milestones, so the more you play over time, the more room you earn.
Does a bigger island give me a scoring advantage?
Everyone starts identical and expands on the same mastery-based schedule, so expansion rewards dedication rather than handing a head start. Score still comes only from hand-harvesting.
Will I lose my expansion at season reset?
Expansion follows lifetime mastery, which persists across seasons — so your long-term island growth reflects your overall journey, not a single season.
What happens to my island when the season resets?
Your island is reset and unassigned at season end, but your mastery — and therefore your expansion tier — persists. When the new season assigns you a plot, it reflects your current mastery tier.
