Milestones & the Almanac

TL;DR

Each crop has harvest-count milestones that pay one-time, escalating SCORE bonuses. Track per-crop counts in /almanac and your completionist progress in /collections. Milestones are automatic — they fire the moment you cross the threshold.

The longer you farm a crop, the more it rewards you. Crop milestones turn raw harvest counts into bonus score.

How milestones work

The server tracks a per-crop harvest counter — a running total of every time you hand-harvest that specific crop this season. As your count crosses milestone thresholds, you receive a one-time season-score bonus automatically. You don’t need to claim anything; the bonus fires the moment the threshold is reached.

Milestones are tier-escalating: each successive milestone on a crop is worth more score than the one before it. The first milestone on Wheat is a small bump; the fifth milestone on Wheat is substantially larger. Deep investment in a crop compounds.

Because milestone bonuses add directly to season score (not just balance), they affect your leaderboard position — they’re among the few things outside of harvesting itself that move your rank.

The Almanac

Run /almanac to open your crop-by-crop progress view:

  • Current harvest count for each crop
  • The next milestone threshold and how many harvests away it is
  • Past milestones already claimed

The Almanac is your primary planning tool. When you’re deciding which crop to plant next, check the Almanac: a crop sitting close to a milestone is worth prioritising over one you’ve barely touched, because the score bonus is imminent.

Collections

/collections is your completionist log — it tracks which crops you’ve worked through and your overall progress toward “collecting” the full set. Great for players who want to 100% the farm: it surfaces which crops have room left to go and which you’ve fully maxed out.

Collections and milestones share the same underlying counters — the Almanac shows the number side, Collections shows the completionist view of the same data.

Milestones and score strategy

Milestones are a secondary score layer on top of your harvest ticks. A focused player who deep-dives one crop accumulates milestone score bonuses faster than a player who spreads effort thinly. At the same time, the highest milestones on any single crop eventually run out — at which point branching into another crop opens a fresh milestone chain.

Strategy & use-cases

Use the Almanac to decide what to plant. At the start of a planting cycle, open /almanac and look for crops that are a short harvest session away from their next milestone. Planting those preferentially turns a routine cycle into a guaranteed score bump.

Don’t ignore lower-tier crops. Even Tier 1 crops have milestone chains. Early in the season when you don’t have higher tiers unlocked yet, hammering the crops you do have — and clearing their early milestones — gives you a score baseline that’s hard for later-starting players to catch up to.

Combine milestones with the featured crop. The server highlights a featured crop that gives a multiplier on harvest score. When the featured crop is one you’re close to a milestone on, you get both the multiplier on every harvest tick and the one-time milestone bonus. Watch for that alignment and position for it.

Deep-dive vs breadth. A deep strategy (max one crop’s entire milestone chain) banks large late-tier bonuses but concentrates risk on that crop’s sell value and featured status. A breadth strategy (spread across many crops for their first few milestones) generates steady small bonuses throughout the season. Most top players mix both: one or two deep crops plus regular rotation to collect opening milestones on the rest.

Common mistakes

  • Not checking the Almanac. Missing a milestone by 10 harvests because you didn’t know it was close is wasted score. Check /almanac before each planting decision.
  • Planting for sell value alone. A crop’s balance return is one dimension; its milestone proximity is another. Ignoring milestones can leave significant score bonuses unclaimed.
  • Thinking milestones are permanent. They reset with the season. Don’t be complacent — you need to earn them again each season.

FAQ

What are crop milestones?

Per-crop harvest counters. Harvest enough of a given crop and you hit milestones that grant one-time, tier-escalating season-score bonuses.

Where do I see my progress?

/almanac shows your per-crop harvest counts and milestones. /collections shows your crop collection log and overall completionist progress.

Do milestone bonuses repeat?

No — each milestone pays once. They escalate, so deeper milestones on a crop are worth progressively more.

Do milestones reset at season end?

Yes — milestone counters are per-season stats. Each season you start fresh and work through the milestone tiers again.
