Shop overview
Open /shop for category pages (seeds, upgrades, build, cosmetics, specials). Rotating daily/weekly specials refresh deals. You spend balance — never score — and can't double-buy owned items.
The shop is where your balance turns into progress and personality.
Open it with /shop.
Balance vs score — a quick reminder
Everything in the shop costs balance — your spendable internal currency earned by
selling crops. Your season score is a completely separate number: it only
ever increases, drives your leaderboard rank, and is never spent or reduced. Buying freely from the
shop cannot hurt your position on /top.
Category pages
The shop GUI is organised into category pages so you can navigate directly to what you need:
- Seeds — seeds for tier-unlocked crops, plus the tier unlock purchases themselves. The next locked tier is visible with its level requirement so you always know what you’re working toward.
- Upgrades — tool and economy upgrades: Fortune, AoE Harvest Sweep, and the Merchant’s Touch sell bonus. Also temporary XP and growth boosters. Requires holding your Harvester Tool for Fortune.
- Build — building packs and materials to decorate your island. Purely cosmetic for island customization.
- Cosmetics — the cosmetics wardrobe: titles, particle trails, hats, and high-cost vanity pieces. Some are limited to specific seasons or events.
- Specials — the rotating featured-deals page (see below).
Rotating specials
The Specials page refreshes on a daily and weekly cadence, surfacing discounted or limited- time offers that aren’t always available. What appears rotates automatically, so it’s worth checking every time you log in. If you’re on a login streak, you’re already forming the habit.
During season events — like a Growth Surge or Delivery Rush — the Specials page may surface event-specific items. Don’t sleep on those windows.
Ownership guards
Permanent one-time purchases (tier unlocks, permanent upgrades, owned cosmetics) show as owned in the GUI lore once you have them and block re-purchase. You’ll never accidentally double-spend balance on something you already own. This also makes it easy to audit what you’ve bought: the entire shop is your progress record.
Pro tips for efficient spending
- Check the Specials page first every session — a discount can front-load a purchase you’d have made at full price anyway.
- The Seeds page shows both seeds and tier unlocks; if a tier unlock is greyed out but close,
check
/skillto see how many XP you need. - High-cost cosmetics on the Cosmetics page exist partly as currency sinks — if you have surplus balance late in the season with nothing left to upgrade, they’re the intended outlet.
Strategy & use-cases
Prioritise upgrades over cosmetics in the first half of the season. Tier unlocks and tool upgrades directly increase your score and sell income for the rest of the season. A cosmetic bought in week one is weeks of compounding lost on a better AoE radius or sell-value bonus.
Plan purchases around the season event calendar. A Growth Surge event speeds crop growth — buying seeds just before one maximises the planted field’s ready cycles during the event. If you see a Growth Surge approaching, top off your seed stock from the Seeds page first.
Use the Specials page as a daily check-in. Even if you don’t intend to buy anything, opening
/shop and skimming Specials takes five seconds and occasionally reveals a limited item you’d
otherwise miss. Habitualise it alongside /delivery and /almanac.
Common mistakes
- Buying seeds for a tier you haven’t unlocked yet. The Seeds page is the right place for both seeds and tier unlocks; read the lore on a locked crop before spending.
- Ignoring the Specials page. Rotating deals can meaningfully reduce the balance cost of an upgrade you planned to buy anyway.
- Hoarding balance and under-spending. Balance doesn’t carry over to leaderboard position — it’s a spendable resource. If you’re sitting on a large balance late in the season, spend it on upgrades or currency sinks. It’s not doing anything in your wallet.

FAQ
How do I open the shop?
Run /shop to open the GUI. Browse the category pages and click to buy with your balance.
What are specials?
Rotating daily and weekly deals — discounted or limited items that refresh on a schedule. Check back regularly.
Can I accidentally buy something twice?
No. Owned one-time items (tier unlocks, permanent upgrades, cosmetics) are guarded so you can't double-buy them.
Does spending balance hurt my leaderboard position?
Never. Season score is a separate number that only ever increases. The shop costs balance only — your rank is safe to spend freely.
