Staff applications
Staff applications are submitted on the website at /apply. Staff positions require you to be an active, fair-minded player, and a linked Discord account. The process goes through a case review system.
HarvestSeason accepts staff applications through the website. They are submitted through the /apply hub and reviewed by the team.

Who we look for
We look for people who:
- Are active members of the community — playing regularly and engaging constructively.
- Are fair-minded — able to apply rules consistently without personal bias.
- Communicate clearly and stay professional, even in frustrating situations.
- Are willing to learn the plugin and tools — staff have access to inspection and moderation commands that require some familiarity with how the server works.
In-game rank, score, and leaderboard position are not deciding factors. A new player who demonstrates great judgment is a better candidate than a high-scorer who struggles to stay calm in moderation situations.
Positions available

| Helper | Answer questions, monitor chat, flag suspicious activity, escalate cases to Mods. Access to basic inspect tools. |
| Mod | All Helper duties + issue warnings, temporary mutes, and bans. Review appeals. Access to punishment tools and audit logs. |
Admin positions are not directly open to applications — they are filled by promoting existing Mods who have demonstrated exceptional judgment over time.
How to apply
- Go to /apply/staff or click “Staff application” on the /apply hub.
- Sign in with Discord.
- Select the position you are applying for.
- Answer the application questions honestly. There are no trick questions — we want to understand how you think and how you would handle real moderation situations.
- Submit. You will receive a confirmation and can track the case on /apply.
After reviewing the written application, the team may invite you to a brief interview (conducted through Discord) before making a final decision. For Mod positions, there is typically a Helper trial period first.
Decision outcomes

| Rejected | Not selected this cycle. You may reapply after 60 days. |
Being rejected is not a permanent “no.” Many staff members were rejected once before being accepted later when a better fit opened up or they had more time to build a track record.
Checking your application status
All submitted applications appear on the /apply hub after signing in. You can see current status, any staff notes left during review, and the outcome once a decision is made.
FAQ
Do I need to be a certain rank to apply for staff?
No rank requirement — we look for maturity, activity, and a genuine interest in the community. Your in-game performance matters but it is not the deciding factor.
How long does a staff application take to review?
Usually one to two weeks. You will be notified through Discord when a decision is made.
Do I need a linked Discord account to apply for staff?
Yes. Staff coordinate in Discord, so a linked Discord account is required to submit a staff application.
What staff ranks can I apply for?
Open applications are accepted for Helper and Mod positions. Admin positions are filled internally from existing staff. Founder is not an appointed position.
