Linking your Discord & Minecraft
Sign in at the website with Discord or your Minecraft (Microsoft) account — or verify in-game with a magic link — then connect both so one account carries your rank, profile and perks; only staff can unlink, for your protection.
Linking ties your Discord, your Minecraft account, and your website profile together so one sign-in carries your whole HarvestSeason identity — stats, ranks, supporter perks, keys, and tickets. You never have to link to play, but linking is what turns three separate accounts into one profile and gets the Discord bot to grant you the right roles.
This is the practical, click-by-click walkthrough. For the conceptual overview, see Linking your account.
Why link
- Discord roles that mirror your in-game rank. Once linked, the bot gives you a managed Discord role matching your earned mastery rank, staff rank, or supporter rank — and updates it automatically when your rank changes.
- One unified profile. Your public profile, season stats, supporter rank, and purchases all resolve to the same identity no matter how you sign in.
- Staff applications. You can only apply for staff with a linked, reachable Discord account.
- Faster help. Staff can assist you quickly when your accounts are tied together.
Three ways to sign in
Head to the website /login and pick whichever you have:
- Discord — sign in with your Discord account. This is the path you need for staff applications.
- Minecraft (Microsoft) — sign in with the Microsoft account that owns your copy of Minecraft. This proves you own the in-game name.
- In-game magic link — the manual option, and the one to use if Microsoft sign-in isn’t available to you. From
/account, choose Confirm in-game: a clickable link appears in your Minecraft chat while you’re online — click it to verify the account is yours.
Any one of these gets you into the site. The goal is to then connect the others so they’re all one account.
Step by step
1. Sign in. Go to /login and choose Discord or Minecraft (Microsoft).
2. Open your account hub. Go to /account — your private hub showing which accounts are currently linked.
3. Connect the other account. From /account, choose to connect an additional account. If you signed in with Discord, connect Minecraft (via Microsoft sign-in or the in-game magic link). If you signed in with Minecraft, connect Discord.
4. Verify in-game if needed. If you’re using the magic-link route, make sure you’re online in Minecraft, then click the link that appears in your chat. That confirms the account is yours.
5. Done. Your profile now resolves to one identity, and the Discord bot will grant your rank role automatically — you don’t need to run anything to keep it in sync.
Prefer to link straight from Discord? The bot’s
/linkcommand also starts the process — see the player’s guide to our Discord.
Connecting vs unlinking
- You connect. From
/accountyou can add another account at any time — there’s no limit on adding, and you can do it whenever you like. - Only staff disconnect. For your safety, you can’t unlink an account yourself. If someone briefly got into one of your accounts, they could otherwise quietly hijack the link — so unlinking is staff-only. Every link change is recorded, and you’re notified when one happens.
- Need a link changed or fixed? Open a support ticket on the website at /contact. Staff can disconnect a wrong or compromised link, and you then re-connect the correct account yourself.
Where to manage everything
| Page | What it’s for |
|---|---|
/login | Sign in with Discord, Minecraft, or start the in-game magic link. |
/account | Your private hub — see linked accounts, connect another, manage appearance. |
/player/<name> | Anyone’s public, read-only profile (yours included). |
Common mistakes
- Expecting to unlink yourself. You can’t — it’s a deliberate anti-hijack safeguard. Open a ticket if a link is wrong.
- Trying the magic link while offline. You must be online in Minecraft for the clickable chat link to work.
- Skipping the link entirely, then wondering where your rank role is. No link means the bot can’t give you a Discord role or let you apply for staff.
- Using an unofficial Discord invite. Only
/discordin-game and the website link are safe.

FAQ
How do I link my accounts?
Sign in at the website with Discord or your Minecraft (Microsoft) account, then from /account connect the other one. You can also verify Minecraft with an in-game magic link if Microsoft sign-in isn't available to you.
Why should I link?
Linking gives you Discord roles that mirror your in-game rank, ties your stats, ranks and purchases to one profile, and is required to apply for staff.
Can I unlink an account myself?
No. You can connect accounts yourself, but only staff can disconnect one. This protects you from someone hijacking a link if they briefly get into one of your accounts.
Do I have to link to play?
No. Linking is only for the website and Discord roles. You can play the server without ever linking.
