Mythic crops are the only thing you can sell that raises your score. Everywhere else, selling pays cash and only hand-harvesting scores — mythics are the deliberate exception. That makes them the highest-value single item in the game, and worth a real strategy. But they’re also random, so the smart play is to tilt the odds rather than bet your season on them.

The mythic loop in one paragraph

Every hand-harvest has a small chance (around 0.1%, about 1 in 1,000) to drop a mythic alongside the normal crop. Sell an authentic mythic and you skip cash entirely — it adds a flat bonus straight to your score, applied instantly and never reduced. Forged or duplicated mythics fail the server’s authentication check and pay nothing. The authentication secret rotates at season end, voiding any mythic carried across the reset. So: drop it, sell it this season, bank the score.

Three levers that raise your mythic rate

Because the base rate is low, your output is mostly a function of how many crops you swing and how much you’ve stacked the odds. Three levers matter:

1. Harvest volume. This is the biggest one and the most boring. A ~0.1% drop means roughly one mythic per thousand crops harvested — so the player swinging 5,000 crops a session lands several mythics while the one swinging 500 may walk away with none, on identical luck. AoE Sweep is your best friend here: one swing harvests every crop in a purchased radius, and each counts as a harvest for mythic-roll purposes. 2. Lucky Harvest. This farming-skill ability permanently raises your mythic drop chance — roughly doubling it at most (from ~0.1% toward ~0.2%). It won’t transform your luck, but it’s a passive bonus on every harvest once unlocked, so it quietly compounds over thousands of harvests in a season. Worth unlocking as your farming level allows; just don’t expect it to make mythics common.

3. Mythic Bloom events. When a Mythic Bloom is active, the drop rate is dramatically elevated server-wide. This is when mythics “rain.” Check /season for active events and drop everything to harvest when one fires. A full field swept with AoE during a Bloom can yield several mythics in a single session — output you’d otherwise need days of normal farming to match.

Selling: pace it, don’t dump it

Normal sells suffer diminishing returns — flood the market with one crop and the per-unit value sags. Mythic score sales run on their own calculation and don’t share that exact curve, but the broader habit still applies to everything else you sell: vary and pace your sales so your cash income doesn’t crater (see selling).

For the mythics themselves, the rule is simpler: sell them within the season they dropped. They don’t appreciate, they can’t be traded, and the season-end secret rotation voids them. The only reason to briefly hold one is timing — e.g. lining up a sale with a score-boosting window if you’re trying to cross a division threshold at a specific moment. Otherwise, cash them promptly.

The reason: the featured crop gives a score multiplier every single swing, reliably. Mythics are random and can’t be planned around minute-to-minute. So your floor should always be featured farming — that’s what guarantees a climbing score. Mythics ride on top of that volume for free, and you escalate them only when an event makes the gamble pay.

Put differently: don’t build a session around hoping for mythics. Build it around the featured crop, harvest enough volume that mythics happen on their own, level Lucky Harvest, and pounce when a Bloom event arrives.

Anti-forgery: don’t waste effort

Mythics are stamped with a per-install secret and authenticated on sale. A mythic created via /give, copied by another plugin, or duplicated in any way fails the check and pays nothing — silently. There’s no smarter forge; the verification is server-side and structural. Spend your energy on volume and events, not on trying to fake the item.

Common mistakes

  • Hoarding mythics across the reset. The secret rotates at season end. A mythic from last season is worth zero. Sell now.
  • Forgetting Lucky Harvest is unlocked. Confirm it’s active on your /almanac / skill view — a passive you forgot to value is wasted odds.
  • Ignoring /season events. Mythic Bloom is the best farming window in the game. Missing it because you didn’t check is the costliest mistake here.
  • Treating mythics as your main plan. They’re a bonus. The featured crop is the plan.
