The friends list
HarvestSeason has one friends list that spans the game, the website, and Discord. Add a friend in any of the three and it counts everywhere — then you can quickly visit each other's farms and share friends-only voice rooms on Discord. Linking your accounts is what ties it all together.
HarvestSeason is a solo competitive gamemode — but it doesn’t have to be lonely. The friends list is one shared graph that spans all three places you meet HarvestSeason: in the game, on the website, and in Discord. Add someone in any one of them and the friendship counts everywhere.
Adding friends
Friend requests are mutual — you send a request, and it becomes a friendship when the other person accepts. You can manage your list from wherever you are:
- In-game with
/friends— send and accept requests, list your friends, and remove someone. - On the website — your friends page shows your list and pending requests.
- On Discord with the
/friendscommand — once your accounts are linked.
Because it’s one shared list, a friend you add in the game appears on the site and in Discord too — no need to add the same person three times.
What friends unlock
- Farm visits. Hop over to a friend’s island to see what they’ve built — see Visiting farms for how visiting works and what visitors can (and can’t) do.
- Friends-only voice on Discord. The Discord join to create voice rooms can be set so only your friends can join, giving you a private space to chat while you grind. See Discord channels & navigation.
Friends are purely social. Being someone’s friend never grants score, balance, or any gameplay advantage — HarvestSeason stays solo and fair. The friends list just makes the social side easier.
Link your accounts first
The friends list works in-game on its own, but the cross-platform magic — the same friendship showing up on the website and unlocking friends-only Discord voice — depends on your accounts being linked. If you haven’t yet, link your Minecraft and Discord accounts first; it only takes a minute and ties your whole HarvestSeason identity together.
FAQ
Where do I manage my friends?
Anywhere — in-game with /friends, on the website friends page, or with the /friends command on Discord. It's one shared list, so a friend you add in the game shows up on the site and in Discord too.
Do both people have to agree?
Yes. Friend requests are mutual — you send a request and it becomes a friendship once the other person accepts. Either side can remove the friendship later.
What do friends unlock?
Quick farm visits to each other's islands, and friends-only "join to create" voice rooms on Discord so you can hang out while you farm. It's all social — friends never give any score, balance, or gameplay advantage.
Does the friends list work if I haven't linked my accounts?
It works in-game on its own, but linking your Minecraft and Discord accounts is what lets the same friendship carry across the website and Discord. Link first to get the full cross-platform experience.
