Getting help & support

TL;DR

Help is everywhere — start with this wiki and the in-game /help and /rules commands, ask in chat or Discord for quick answers, open a support ticket on the website for anything bigger, and use the appeals process for punishments.

However you’re stuck — a confusing mechanic, a bug, an account problem, or a punishment you think is unfair — HarvestSeason has a clear path to help. The trick is matching your question to the right channel so you get a fast, useful answer. This article is the master map to every support option.

Start here: this wiki

You’re already in the best self-serve resource. This wiki has in-depth articles on nearly everything: getting started, scoring, selling, seasons, ranks, troubleshooting, and more. Use the search to jump straight to your topic. A huge share of questions — “how does scoring work?”, “why can’t I connect?”, “what’s a mythic crop?” — are answered here in detail, instantly, at any hour.

If you’re brand new, the getting started path and articles like Joining your island and Your first harvest are the place to begin.

In game: /help and /rules

When you’re actually playing, two commands cover the basics without alt-tabbing:

  • /help — general in-game assistance and a pointer to common commands and resources.
  • /rules — the server rules, right there in chat.
  • /discord — quick link to the community Discord.

A clarification players often need: the /staff command is staff-only. It’s a moderation tool, not a “call a moderator” button for players. If you need staff attention, use the website support tickets or the Discord (below).

Quick questions: chat and Discord

For something a person can answer in a sentence — “where do I sell?”, “is this mod allowed?”, “how do deliveries work?” — just ask:

  • In-game chat. The community is usually happy to help. A friendly, specific question gets a friendly, specific answer.
  • The Discord. This is the social hub of the server — active community, helpful regulars, and staff presence. Great for questions, discussion, sharing clips, and staying up to date with announcements. For anything longer than a quick chat line, Discord is ideal.

When you ask, be specific. “It’s broken, help” is hard to answer; “I’m trying to sell crops but /sell says nothing happens — what am I missing?” gets you sorted fast.

Bigger issues: website support tickets

Some things are too important or too personal for public chat — an account problem, a bug report, a sensitive issue, or anything that needs a record and follow-up. For those, open a support ticket on the website.

Why tickets beat chatting:

  • Nothing gets lost. A chat message scrolls away in seconds; a ticket stays open until it’s resolved.
  • It’s tracked. Staff can follow up, ask for details, and keep the whole conversation in one place.
  • It’s appropriate for private matters you wouldn’t want to post in public chat.

Use a ticket for: account or linking issues, bug reports, reporting a player with evidence (see How to report a player), or any matter that deserves a proper, tracked response.

Punishments: the appeals process

If you’ve received a warning, mute, or ban and believe it was a mistake or applied unfairly, don’t argue in chat — use the dedicated process. Every punishment on HarvestSeason is appealable.

  • Visit /punishments to look up the punishment and access the appeals form.
  • Explain calmly and factually why you believe it should be reviewed.
  • Staff review appeals fairly and respond. See Appealing a punishment for the full step-by-step.

Punishments are issued fairly to begin with, and the appeals process keeps moderation accountable — so if something genuinely went wrong, this is how it gets fixed.

Tips for getting help fast

  • Search first. There’s a good chance this wiki already answers your question.
  • Be specific. Exact commands, exact error messages, exact player names.
  • Pick the right channel. Quick stuff in chat/Discord; important stuff in tickets; punishments via appeals.
  • Be patient and polite. Staff and helpful players are volunteers giving their time. A kind, clear request gets a better response than a demanding one.
  • One channel at a time. Filing the same issue in three places at once just slows everyone down.

You’re never on your own

Between this wiki, the in-game commands, the chat, the Discord community, website support tickets, and the appeals process, there’s always a way forward. Whatever you’re facing on HarvestSeason, there’s a channel built for it — pick the right one, ask clearly, and you’ll get the help you need. Welcome to the community, and happy harvesting.

FAQ

What's the fastest way to get a quick answer?

Search this wiki or ask in chat or the Discord. For game basics, the in-game /help and /rules commands answer most things instantly.

I have a bigger issue (account, bug, a real problem). Where do I go?

Open a support ticket on the website. Tickets are tracked, so your issue won't get lost the way a chat message can, and staff can follow up properly.

I was punished and think it's a mistake. How do I get that reviewed?

Use the appeals process on the website's /punishments page. Every punishment is appealable and reviewed fairly by staff.

Can I get help in game directly from staff?

Use /help in game for general assistance. The /staff command is staff-only — for issues needing staff attention, use the website support tickets or the Discord.
